FU Sandy hits $75,000 in Donations for Rebuilding Efforts

To mark the one year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, we're making another contribution to storm restoration, bringing the total so far to $75,000.
We're focusing this time on the western shore, also known as the Bayshore area which was extremely hard hit and has seen little in the way of recovery relief.  Here's some background
We're awarding $12,500 to the Bayshore Discovery Project for a series of oyster restoration projects to enhance the Bay's oyster population and maintain the jobs of the local oyster industry and the businesses that support it.  The industry faced a double hit from Hurricane Irene in 2011 and then Sandy in 2012.  And since the Bayshore is where our oysters come from for Exit 1 Oyster Stout, we're extremely interested in ensuring their viability.  (And yes, Exit 1 will be making an appearance very early in 2013).
Thanks to everyone who's helped these efforts by purchasing the beer and FU Sandy merchandise.  We couldn't have done it without your enthusiastic support.
